Funny Bunny Loves Veggies

I Loved this funny Bunny card.  We decided to share the card with a couple of Kate's friends...added a little something inside...

Peas and Carrots!  Bunny food.

I was at TaiPan couple of weeks ago and came across a package of veggies (Runt type candy), 6 or 8 little packages inside a large package for about $4.00.  When I saw this card I new the veggies had to be a part of this funny bunny Easter greeting.

If you knew my Kate you would know how fitting this card is for her to give away.  Kate dislikes (and that's putting it mildly) veggies, but LOVES chocolate.

Hope your Easter morning is veggie-free with just a bit of CHOCOLATE.

Hippity, Hoppity Easters on it's Way

Easter is just around the corner and I'm so ready for Spring color!  We had two sweet sister missionaries over for dinner and thought it might be fun to give them an early Easter treat.

The basket and most of the goodies are from TaiPan.  The flower and ribbon are from Hobby Lobby.  No Fuss, just Fun!

This cute little chick was so ADORABLY funny that I had to include in the basket.  I love the hair...reminds me of my son's morning bedhead.
(also found at TaiPan)

Happy Spring!

Copycrafter Friday....Valentine Tree's

We are starting something new on Friday's called "Copycrafter Friday." Kellie and I get a lot of our craft ideas from Pinterest and Blogs. We like to think we copy them and make them even better but sometimes it's just straight up copied! So to get us started, this week I found these cute Valentine Trees from Lolly Jane. My crafting friend Candice came over and we put these together in just a few hours start to finish. They turned out adorable.
You can find Lolly Jane's full tutorial here.
These were super easy to make. First gather your supplies:
I got my styrafoam cones, felt and pins from Hobby Lobby and the small candlesticks from the Dollar Tree.
To make,  just cut out hearts (we freehanded them by folding over felt and cutting half a heart) and pin them upside down to the tree.
After that attach your heart (also found at the dollar tree) to the top, and glue your painted candlesticks to the base and your done.
A fun and easy craft!
Thanks to Lollyjane.com for the fun idea! Check out their site for other cute ideas!
